Offline first
The till does not need the internet to sell. It keeps everything on the computer, encrypted, and sends it when it can.
The sale is saved first on the shop computer, in an encrypted database whose key stays in the system keychain.
Taking payment, giving change, returns, closing: everything carries on. The badge only says “Synced” once nothing is waiting.
Sales go to the cloud on their own, with nothing lost or duplicated, even after the computer is switched off abruptly.
Up to 3 days without a connection, with warnings at 24 and 48 hours: after that, the till asks to reconnect before taking new sales.
Features
From the corner shop to a chain of minimarkets, the same till handles sales, stock, credit and the day’s accounts.
Mobile money
The customer pays on their phone and the cashier types the transaction reference: the sale is recorded, and in the evening each payment is reconciled against the provider’s statement.
The till does not connect to Wave or Orange Money: it records the reference, with no automatic confirmation.
Shops and warehouses
Add a till with a one-time code, open a second shop, attach a warehouse: it all stays in the same account.
Each shop keeps its own prices and products; central promotions apply to all of them or to some.
Send stock from the warehouse to a shop, or between shops, even offline, with stock in transit, partial receipts and breakage.
A shop asks, the owner accepts or declines. Purchasing can be centralised too.
Each shop has its own business day, on Dakar time.
Owner dashboard
From your phone, at app.posxt.com: every till’s sales, mobile money, the credit book, prices, without being in the shop.
French and English
The till and the owner dashboard exist in French and in English: each employee picks theirs, on the same computer.
Security and data
Every access is personal, every action leaves a trace, and your data stays exportable.
The sales on the computer are encrypted on disk; the key stays in the system keychain.
Required for the owner and managers online, with backup codes.
A change or a deletion never goes unnoticed.
A customer’s phone number is only saved with their consent; export, correction and anonymisation on request.
Your data stays readable and exportable, even if the subscription is suspended.
An alert warns you if the computer’s last backup is more than 24 hours old.
Hardware
PosXT Caisse installs on a shop computer and works with everyday hardware.
ESC/POS network printers, 80 or 58 mm, or printing through the browser. The sale is saved even if the printer does not answer.
Opened by the receipt printer when you take payment.
A USB scanner that types like a keyboard: scan it, it’s added.
Price or weight labels printed by the scale, read by the scanner; or type the weight in kg.
The card terminal is not linked: the cashier confirms the card payment on the till.
Public demo
